Itinerary
DAY 1
San Jose
Assistance at your arrival
to San Jose Airport by a CANATUR (Costa Rican Chamber of Tourism)
representative, and transfer to your hotel. There you will
receive a briefing on your tour and vouchers covering all the services
included.

DAY 2
San Jose / Poas Volcano / Saripiqui River
We begin our journey by
having a typical Costa Rican breakfast in the countryside and visiting
the beautiful coffee fields of the area. We then visit the Poas
Volcano National Park craters and cloud forest trails and Botos Lagoon.
We then go to La Paz Waterfall Gardens Nature Park where we have lunch,
explore one of the largest butterfly gardens in the world, and hike to
several beautiful waterfalls. After a short bus trip, we take a
relaxing boat ride on the Sarapiqui River, where you will observe a
great variety of the wildlife. Monkeys, iguanas, crocodiles, and a great
variety of birds can be seen while on the boat. On our return to San
Jose we pass through the 45,899 hectare Braulio Carrillo National Park.

DAY 3
Braulio Carrillo
Today, we will experience
the Rainforest Aerial Tram Tour near the Braulio Carrillo National Park.
We will first explore the rainforest by doing a 45 to 90 minute nature
walk with one of our expert guides. Then, we board the Aerial
Tram, to experience a breath-taking 75-minute journey through and above
the rainforest canopy.

DAY 4
Arenal
We depart to Arenal, where
we will see one of the most active volcanoes in the Americas. From our
observation point, you may see the night sky explode with ash and lava
in a natural display of fireworks (weather permitting). Next, we will
visit the Tabacon Hot Springs Resort where you can relax in the soothing
hot springs of the volcano. At a convenient time we will treat you to a
splendid dinner.
