DAY 1
Mexico City
Assistance at your arrival to Mexico City Airport and transfer to your hotel. There you will receive a briefing on your tour and vouchers covering all the services included.

DAY 2
Mexico City
In the morning, we visit Mexico City's Main Square: Zocalo, Cathedral, Government Palace, and Diego Rivera's murals. We will continue to Reforma Avenue and Chapultepec Park. Then we visit the world-renowned Anthropology Museum.
You may go back to the hotel or take a suggested optional tour to Xochimilco´s water canals.

DAY 3
Queretaro / San Miguel de Allende
Departure to Queretaro where we will visit the Aqueduct, the Ex-Cross Convent and Historic Downtown.
Head to San Miguel de Allende, where many intellectuals and retired foreigners live. We visit San Miguel´s Parish with the Holy House Chapel, the Inquisitor House, the San Francisco church and Allende´s house. You may enjoy a great variety of cafes and restaurants.

DAY 4
Guanajuato
Departure to Dolores Hidalgo, where in 1810, the father of the Mexican Independence, Don Miguel Hidalgo, declared Mexico's Independence. Also José Alfredo Jimenez, one of the most famous musical composers, was born there. We continue to Guanajuato, where year after year the city hosts the International Cervantino Arts Festival.
In the afternoon we will get to know this fabulous city, full of beautiful colonial alleys and plazas. Such as the Alhondiga de Granaditas, the Juárez Theater, Mine of Valenciana, the Kiss Alley and the University. Its streets and subterranean avenues are one of a kind in the country. The "callejoneada" is a must, where you can sing along the city's streets accompanied by a musical student band or "Estudiantina". We may also visit other attractions such as the Museum of Don Quixote, the House-Museum of Diego Rivera and the Mommies of Guanajuato.

DAY 5
Zacatecas
We head to colonial Zacatecas, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will visit its outstanding baroque Cathedral, and from "La Bufa" Hill you will be able to appreciate a panoramic view of the city. We will descend in a cable car and afterwards a brief visit to the mine of Eden. Optionally you may enjoy the "Callejoneada", a performance accompanied with musical "Tambora"; or going to a disco inside a mine.

DAY 6 Guadalajara
We depart to Guadalajara, the land of Tequila and Mariachi. On the way there we will stop at the town of Tlaquepaque, known for its beautiful handcrafts.

DAY 7
Guadalajara
Today we will visit the main points of interest: Hospicio Cabañas with splendid mural paintings of Orozco, the Degollado Theater, Cathedral, and Rotonda of the Illustrate Men. We also visit the town of Tequila, where the famous Mexican beverage originated from. The agave fields and distilleries were just named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2006.

DAY 8
Patzcuaro
Departure to Patzcuaro, which in purepecha means "Heaven's door". This city is famous for its colonial beauty and unique for its customs. Here we will visit the Basilica of Our Mother of Health, the "House of the eleven Patios", Historic Downtown, and the Island of Janitzio.
Enjoy of the wide variety of cafes and restaurants which offer typical dishes at the portals of Patzcuaro's downtown.

DAY 9
Morelia / Mexico City
Continue on to Morelia, a UNESCO World Heritage site, known for its magnificent colonial constructions of "pink cantera". We visit the Cathedral, the Government Palace, Clavijero Palace, the Main Plaza, the market of typical Mexican candies, and the Aqueduct.
